Big discussion here about it, including Raatz (ass) himself:

Exactly Island Man, that is why I stopped believing my own experience was real when I was researching this stuff age 40. Learning something about how the brain works and all the different sleep disorders etc made it all very clear what had happened.

Another problem for JW apologists
by Jeffro inthe 2013 edition of the new world translation renders 2 kings 17:1 as:.
in the 12th year of king ahaz of judah, hoshea the son of elah became king over israel in samaria; he ruled for nine years.. this is in fact a better rendering than the previous nwt, which stated:.
in the twelfth year of ahaz the king of judah, hoshea the son of elah became king in samaria over israel for nine years.. despite their improved rendering, the watch tower society still claims that hoshea's reign 'really' began in 758 bce, but that it was 'established' in the 12th year of ahaz.

Kingdom Ministry Feb 2014 has a couple interesting statements
by RayPublisher ini thought the kingdom ministry feb 2014 had a couple interesting things in it:.
1. a short talk encouraging the jw sales force to publicize the jw.org website at every opportunity.. 2. do not put out bibles on your table displays keep them hidden underneath.
i thought they were so p-p-p-p-proud of their new nwt??.

A story about Reggie and Reginald... and why it makes me cringe... more vomiting
by confusedandalone inso i grew up in new jersey in a very urban part of the state.
i literally only saw white folks if they were in a police car or if i went to the assembly.
the funny thing is at the assembly there was still a level of segregation as well although it was self-imposed.

We are different people at 40 compared to a teenager.. comparing the two is pointless really.
When I was 18 I had a car fail the MOT on a cracked front subframe, MOT man offered to weld it up, so I agreed and took it off and stripped it down and took it to him for him to weld up.
He welded it, I put it all back together and took the car back in for reMOT test. He failed it again as the suspension was still out of position slightly just as it was before he welded it up. I had to go buy a replacement subframe from a breakers yard and refit that on and re MOT it again.
I was annoyed but paid up and said very little about it.
If that happened now (which it wouldnt as I have learnt the lesson) I would just tell him to GTFO and not pay him for the retest.

Damn that is sad and pathetic, but they probably got it from their parents or others. No excuse, and yes I too would have regretted not saying anything at the time.
